Starboard cheek gun position corrected. Skin modified to that of a 849BS, 490BG B17G operating from Eye, Suffolk from May 1944 to April 1945. This Group flew B24 Liberators until August 1944 before converting to the B17. This group carried red bands on the wing and tail surfaces in common with many 93rd CBW (Combat Bomb Wing) Groups.
